Tour De Cure

Our club provides support to the Silicon Valley Tour De Cure event.  This event is a day full of fun and excitement where riders of all levels join forces in the fight to Stop Diabetes® and raise critical funds for diabetes research, education and advocacy in support of the American Diabetes Association.  The Kiwanis Club of De Anza members are invovled with event planning, rest stop support, and serve as route monitors.

Kiwanis Special Games

The Kiwanis Special Games is an annual event held at De Anza College.  The Special Games were created to address the physical and emotional needs of the substantial number of very challenged children in the schools of our region. More broadly known programs like the Special Olympics presume a rather high level of function. The Special Games exclude no one.  This is the one day in the year when these youngsters are special, they are athletes, and at the center of attention through positive achievement. For many of these kids, the Special Games is their favorite day of the year.  The event hosts over 900 athletes from nearly 60 schools.  Kiwanis Club of De Anza manages the event equipment and arranges the venue.

Sunrise Breakfast

The Sunrise Breakfast (formerly known as Good Friday Breakfast) is an annual event sponsored by the Kiwanis Club of De Anza.  This event is an inspriational gathering of the Kiwanis clubs from Division 12 and Division 34.  The event honors all faiths and features a keynote speker.  The event is held every Good Friday at the Saratoga
Country Club, 21990 Prospect Rd., Saratoga, Ca.
